This week’s new dial-a-story is “One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish” written by Dr. Seuss. Children can call the free dial-a-story line at the Attala County Library @ 289-8069 to hear this story over the telephone. Dr. Seuss stories will be featured on dial-a-story throughout the month of March in honor of Dr. Seuss’s birthday on March 2nd. Also, the Attala County Library is having a special promotional during March for children who sign up for their first library card. See details below.
Children who visit the Attala County Library during the month of March and register for their first library card will receive a free Dr.
Seuss book bag, sticker and bookmark. Children must be 6 years old and in the first grade to get their first library card. They must be accompanied by a parent who can present the child’s social security card. Your first library card is FREE! Plus, we’ll put the child’s name in a drawing for a chance to win a copy of one of the Dr. Seuss books listed below:
