This week’s new Dr. Seuss dial-a-story is “There’s a Wocket in My Pocket.” During the month of March all dial-a-stories will be books by Dr. Seuss.  Children who are at least 6 years old and in the first grade can visit the library along with their parents to register for their first library card.  There’s no cost for your first library card but children must be accompanied by parents who have the child’s social security card.  Children who register for their first library card this month will receive a free Dr. Seuss book bag, sticker and book  mark.  They can enter their name in the drawing for a chance to win one of five brand new Dr. Seuss books which will be given away March 31st.  All children visiting the library during March can enter their name in the book drawing. Winners of the book drawing will be notified by telephone.

The dial-a-story line at the Attala County Library is 289-8069.  Funding for dial-a-story is made possible by the Mid-Mississippi Regional Library System and an LSTA grant from the Mississippi Library Commission.

Come by the Attala County Library during the month of March and see our great Barbie doll collection displayed by Ms. Ruth Elmore.
